More than 10,000 people are expected to gather at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center to attend former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno's public memorial service, which starts at 2 p.m. EST.
Penn State officials estimate that 27,000 people attended Joe Paterno's viewing on January 24, 2012. The line of people waiting to pay their respects stretched for blocks, and some waited over an hour to pass by the closed casket.

Joe Paterno died after a battle with lung cancer at age 85 on Sunday, January 22, 2012.
