(Lebanon) -- The health and well-being of one midstate city's Latino community is at the heart of an event planned Saturday. Lebanon Family Health Services is holding its seventh annual Latino Health Fair at Northwest Elementary School in Lebanon from 9 a.m. to noon. The group's Vicki DeLoatch says the event is is intended to make health care resources easier to access for those among the city's fastest-growing population. "It's about knowing where people can go to access services, and really encouraging preventive health. That's health in all aspects: physical health, emotional health, everything that they can access in our community," DeLoatch says. She says the seventh annual event is expected to feature flu shots and health screenings like eye exams. She adds information is available in both English and Spanish.
