Holiday lights debut tonight at Lancaster County's largest live Christmas tree farm

Written by  Megan Lello, witf Reporter and Producer

(Lititz) -- Hundreds of thousands of lights spanning a mile long will dot the landscape of a Lancaster County Christmas tree farm, beginning this evening. Elizabeth Farms in Lititz will open a new holiday light display for cars to pass through at night. Farm owner Bill Coleman says visitors can see a display of Santa and his reindeer pass over their vehicles, as well as a giant tunnel of multi-colored lights. He adds the so-called "Gift of Lights" display is the newest addition to the farm, which has a number of other holiday attractions. "We have a Fantasy Barn, which comprises Santa's workshop, complete with Santa, a room with display windows from Bloomingdale's department store in New York, which are all handpainted, and new for this season, we have a model train room," he says. The farm is the oldest live Christmas tree farm in Lancaster County and is located on more than 200 acres. Visitors can see the light display until New Year's Day.
