(Harrisburg) -- The price tags on hundreds of wine and liquor products will be a little bit higher in the coming months at Pennsylvania's state-owned liquor stores. The state Liquor Control Board has given its unanimous approval to the increases on 313 products, including Crown Royal, Bacardi Rum and Jack Daniels. LCB CEO Joe Conti says suppliers are facing economic pressure on multiple fronts. "Increased costs all over, whether it was raw product, transportation costs, any product from Europe dealing with the Euro has suffered greatly over the last year too," he says. "So, (it's) a number of cost increases in various areas." The move will end to an 18-month moratorium on price hikes imposed due to the economic downturn. The increases will go into effect in February and March. The state system sells about 30,000 different types of wine and liquor and individual stores typically offer some 4,400 products.
