(Lancaster) -- Rising waters are causing flooding on several roadways in Lancaster County. County Emergency Management Coordinator Randall Gockley says some of the streets may not be barricaded and he's urging people not to attempt to drive through flooded roadways. "The main reason that people are killed during floods is that they try to drive through water and get swept away, so that is our primary concern at this point," Gockley says. He adds several fire department water rescue teams are on standby across the county. He says emergency managers have been talking with the National Weather Service for updates on the latest weather conditions.
