Facing Cancer Together: Penn State's THON

(Undated) -- This weekend, thousands of Penn State students and alumni will take part in an event that's become one of the most famous fundraisers for pediatric cancer research. The annual Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, or "THON," as it's more commonly known, will take over the school's Bryce Jordan Center from this evening to Sunday afternoon. Last year, the event raised more than $9.5 million. As part of our multimedia Facing Cancer Together initiative, witf's Megan Lello spoke with the director of the Four Diamonds Fund as well as a Penn State student and THON volunteer who fought cancer herself:
