Dauphin County judge appointed to Sandusky-related PSU administrator cases

Written by  Craig Layne, Morning Edition Host/Reporter

(Harrisburg) -- Dauphin County's president judge will hear the cases against the two former Penn State administrators charged in connection to the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse investigation. Todd Hoover has been appointed to oversee the proceedings against Gary Schultz, who oversaw campus police before his retirement, and Tim Curley, who took a leave of absence from his athletic director post in the wake of the scandal. Hoover's brother works for Penn State's Department of Entomology, but the judge has no other connection to PSU or the defendants.
