(Manheim) -- As an Adams County community is mourning the loss of five high school students in a two-car accident, another midstate school district that went through a similar nightmare nearly a year ago is offering its support. Five New Oxford High School students died yesterday when their car crashed into a pickup truck on Route 94 -- about two miles away from the school. The tragedy has hit home in the Manheim Central School District in Lancaster County, where four high school students were killed in a car accident last January. Superintendent William Clark says he's already reached out to the New Oxford community. "If they want to hear what lessons we've learned and what advice we could offer, and just to say if, in the next couple of days, if you want to call somebody who's been through it as a whole, I'm here to listen," Clark says. The superintendent of the Conewago Valley School District, where New Oxford is located, says additional counselors and staff are available to students, teachers and family members. The crash victims are senior Oscar Banda, juniors Anthony Campos, Diego Aguilar and Casey Sheriday and sophomore Chelsea McFalls. Police do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, but have not released a cause.
