(Harrisburg) -- Nonprofits across the midstate have spent the last few weeks working to help make the holidays a little brighter for those in need. It's been a busy time for volunteers and staff alike. As part of our Real Life | Real Issues series, "Hard Times at the Holidays," WITF's Tim Lambert sat down with Major John Greiner. He's the area coordinator of the Salvation Army of the Harrisburg-Capital City Region, which covers Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties. Their conversation starts with how the last four weeks have gone for Greiner's organiztion:
