At this free family event designed specifically for you and your soon-to-be kindergartner you can: Create fun arts and crafts, sit on a real school bus, meet PBS characters and community helpers! Hi, I am trying to register my daughter for this event and it keeps giving me an error message...but I can't see that I'm making an error. Any help?

Do you have to be there right at 9am for this event or is it come and go as you please?

Hi Lesli,
You may come and go as you please. However, we do advise that people get there early, as some of the groups may have a limited amount of materials that would be distributed on a first come first serve basis

We had such a great time on Saturday. Favorite was the ZooAmerica animals. Thank-you! One suggestion however, the Face Painter was a very popular attraction but she could not do the painting and manage the line of people waiting. Sadly, many parents were not "managing" their children and there was alot of line jumping. Hard to explain to my very patient 5 year old when she suddenly went from 3rd to 6th in line after already waiting 30 minutes. A volunteer should have been there to help.
Maybe have more than one person doing the face painting as well. She did an incredible job and that is why she was so popular.
