Director of Technology

witf seeks an energetic individual for the challenging position of Director of Technology to establish, plan, and administer the overall policies and goals for the Technology Department.  The qualified candidate will ensure proper functioning of the information processing system and oversee necessary upgrades  ensuring computer equipment, hardware, and software are updated to meet organizational needs.  Be responsible for the security of systems and external websites/applications, for enterprise and broadcast networks including monitoring, configuration, and security.  Budget technical and personnel resources for the technology department and manage enterprise applications and database systems performing general administrative tasks.

A bachelor's degree in a related area with at least eight years of experience in the field is required.  Experience with VMWare virtualization, storage area networks, blade servers, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS, Microsoft Server and Active Directory management, Microsoft Exchange, Nortel Phone Switch, Web Security, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft IIS preferred.

Development Support Specialist

WE NEED YOU to manage our donor database information and disseminate data to support pledge and the Business Office in support of witf’s Annual Fund activities.  You will process donor contributions and provide timely, efficient and friendly customer service to donors via telephone and email to satisfy donor inquiries and resolve donor payment issues.  The preferred candidate will enter cash receipts, prepare and process recurring gift transactions and provide ad hoc and regular reports for internal departments.  Also responsible for preparing and processing data files for pledge, direct mail, and telemarketing efforts.

The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent and proven outstanding skills with a database software system.  Must have experience with Crystal Reports, Miscrosoft Excel, as well as common computer software.  Proficiency with Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge software and experience in a non-profit environment, plus three years work experience in a responsible customer service and/or donor service environment is preferred.

Special Projects Producer

If you are a creative, well-organized, self-starter seeking a challenge then this job is for you!   You will be responsible for all aspects of production including generating ideas, producing from concept through post-production, writing, content placement on multimedia platforms, and on-line producing to successfully complete assigned projects on time and within budgets.  Special Projects include, but are not limited to interstitials, pledge drives and convening projects.  Support the planning, execution and coordination of various other witf productions including long form documentaries, news stories, segments and promos.

A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Communications or equivalent from a four-year College or university preferred.  Familiar with television, radio and web production techniques, including studio and on-location taping, multi-project management skills, and at least 2 years experience as a content coordinator or associate producer preferred.
