It’s almost time to celebrate Chanukah in Israel! Grover is bringing the latkes, as Sesame Workshop, the non-profit educational organization behind Sesame Street, brings the latest edition of Shalom Sesame, “Chanukah: The Missing Menorah,” to witf on December 20 at 10 a.m. This educational and entertaining feature is perfect for the holidays and finds the furry and loveable Grover with celebrity host Anneliese van der Pol (That’s So Raven, Broadway’s Beauty and the Beast) as they travel to Israel and celebrate the festival of Chanukah. Special guest appearance by Entourage’s Debi Mazar.
In “Chanukah: The Missing Menorah,” all is well until Anneliese gets caught in a game of tag with a chicken and loses her special menorah—just as Chanukah is about to begin! Can her furry friends find the missing menorah in time? Designed to help bring the vitality of Jewish culture and tradition as well as the diversity of Israeli life to American children and their families, Chanukah: The Missing Menorah will engage and entertain while emphasizing Jewish cultural traditions and values.
