National history, culture on every corner, and food like no other... Philly’s got it all. Whether it’s a history lesson on Ben or a famous cheese wit, strolling through the city of brotherly love is a trip for the mind and senses unlike any other city in the country. With original history, food and fun, there’s something for everyone in and around the greater Philly region.
We’re bringing back Explore PA road trip veterans and sending them on all-new adventures across the state. Last time the Leidigh family, Ron, Mary Ann, Alex, and Abby got a taste of the Ashland Parade as they traveled to Schuylkill County. This time we’re sending them to Philadelphia to discover the old and experience the new in a city and surrounding country side teaming with things to do.
Stops include: The Franklin Fountain, Franklin Square, The Northern Liberties, North Bowl, The Philadelphia Chocolate Tour, The Clay Studio, The Wharton Esherick Museum, The Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences: Electro Fishing, and the Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation.
