Discover Raystown Lake, Pennsylvania's largest manmade body of water, on 'Explore PA'

Written by  witf.org

It’s the intersection of natural beauty, outdoor adventure and Pennsylvania heritage... welcome to Raystown Lake. From the Allegheny mountains to the Juniata River valley, the shear size and scope of the Raystown Lake Region is breathtaking. With endless outdoor adventures and miles of historic railroads, the Heart of Huntingdon County is a journey all it’s own.

We’re bringing back Explore PA road trip veterans and sending them on all-new adventures across the state. Last time Tony and Jen Elberti climbed, biked and swung their way across Pennsylvania’s Pocono Region. This time we’re testing their sea legs and trekking skills in and around the state’s largest man made body of water.

Stops include: Pine Bottom Aviation Helicopter Tour, R&C Scuba Diving, Raystown Ray, Angry Muskie Fishing Outfitters, Trough Creek State Park, The Rockhill Trolley Museum, Raystown Ziplines and Fort Roberdeau.

Tune in Tuesday, September 27 at 8 p.m. to explore Raystown lake in Pennsylvania!
