Sunday December 23 at 8:00pm - Reindeer Family & Me - Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan is travelling to the frozen north, deep inside the Arctic Circle, to meet the ancient Sami people and the animals they hold so close - reindeer.

Monday December 24 at 7:00pm - Bucknell Candlelight Christmas - Rooke Chapel, set on one of Central Pennsylvania's most picturesque campuses, makes for an evocative setting for this holiday special that highlights the uplifting power of congregational singing. 

Tuesday December 25 at 9:00pm - Call the Midwife Holiday Special -  See what happens when a new nun and four Chinese orphans arrive unexpectedly at Nonnatus House, causing both joy and chaos for the midwives. Meanwhile, Mother Superior falls ill, and it's time for a new spiritual leader to be elected.

Wednesday December 26 at 8:00pm - Nature - Helen Macdonald's best-selling book H Is for Hawk told the saga of a grieving daughter who found healing in training a goshawk. Now she digs deeper into the world of these raptors by following a family in the wild and raising a goshawk of her own.

Thursday December 27 at 8:00pm - American Experience: George H. W. Bush - Explore the life and career of the 41st president, from his service in World War II to the Oval Office, and his role as the patriarch of a political family whose influence is unequaled in modern American life.  The original two part broadcast is combined in this special, three hour presentation.

Friday December 28 at 9:00pm - Great Performances - Celebrate Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday with this tribute concert at Tanglewood. Featuring the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the concert is hosted by Audra McDonald and includes guest artists Midori, Yo-Yo Ma, Thomas Hampson and more.

Saturday December 29 at 9:00pm - Doc Martin - Martin finds himself trapped by Annie Winton, who desperately wants him to try and save her husband.  Meanwhile, Ruth and Bert have a proposition to put to Al, regarding the whisky and the B&B.
