WITF presents a number of special programs 9:00am - 4:00pm this Thanksgiving

9:00am - The Science of Gratitude - What are you grateful for? It's a more important question than you might think. "The Science of Gratitude"  explores how feeling grateful may be the true key to healthy and happiness.

10:00pm - Can Laughter Make Us Healthier?  Is the old cliché true -- is laughter the best medicine? In this special episode of "Studio 360," host Kurt Andersen and guests get to the bottom of it!

11:00pm - Sporkful: Thanksgiving is for Eaters - An entertaining, informative, and personal special with Dan Pashman, host of The Sporkful podcast. Featuring Mo Rocca, Amy Sedaris, Sam Sifton, Robert Krulwich and Brooke Gladstone

12:00pm - 2:00pm - Splendid Table Turkey Confidential - Host Lynne Rossetto Kasper comes to the rescue of Thanksgiving cooks, kitchen helpers, and dinner guests alike on the biggest cooking day of the year. Lynne answers listener questions throughout this live, two-hour program.  Lynne will field listeners' questions with the help of America's Test Kitchen co-host Bridget Lancaster, Mario Batali, Francis Lam, Melissa Clark, and A Prairie Home Companion's Chris Thile. Call (800) 242-2828 to be part of the program.

2:00pm - 4:00pm - Giving Thanks - No clichés about pilgrims and pumpkin pies. Instead, host John Birge presents a contemporary celebration of the spirit of gratitude, with this year's special guest, chef Jacques Pepin. Whether your listeners are listening in the kitchen, on the road, or relaxing after their feast, "Giving Thanks" provides the warmth of great music and memorable words.

Evening Repeats:
