Monday August 11 8:00pm - Red Hot Chilli Pipers:Blast - A concert special taped at Scotland’s Old Fruitmarket Glasgow that “blasts” the bagpipes into a new musical orbit. Formed in 2002, the Chillis have fast become a global phenomenon, taking their signature “Bagrock” sound to the masses and rocking far-flung shores from New York to Beijing and everywhere in between with their unique fusion of rocked-up bagpipes and clever covers of popular songs from all genres.
Tuesday August 12 8:00pm - Celtic Thunder: Mythology - Tells the story of their ancestors in Ireland, their legends, their history and their stories. It’s the lifeblood of modern day Ireland and it’s influences from our Celtic past that are that are still reflected in its people today. Like the Celts, Mythology is bold, challenging, strong, proud and steeped in history. On the set of Mythology the old and the new combine, modern catalyst images are projected onto ancient standing stones, a giant Celtic cross takes center stage and the tempo of the music is strongly echoed in the theatrical and moody lighting.
Wednesday August 13 8:00pm - Earthflight - Get a behind-the-scenes look at how the series was made, including the extraordinary relationships between people and birds. Microlights, paragliders, drones and camera-carrying birds and much more helped along the way.
Thursday August 14 at 1:00pm - Bob Ross the Happy Painter - Presents a behind-the-scenes look at the beloved public television personality's journey from humble beginnings to an American pop-culture icon.THE HAPPY PAINTER reveals the public and private sides of Bob Ross through loving accounts from close friends and family, childhood photographs and rare archival footage.
