  • November 17 at 8:00pm - Secrets of Scotland Yard - From Dickens to Sherlock Holmes, Agatha Christie to James Bond, no police institution in the world has caught the public imagination in the same way as Scotland Yard.
  • November 18 at 8:00pm - Antiques Roadshow - Highlights include an 18th-century ivory carved creche; a beautifully preserved banner from George Washington's inauguration ball; and a circa 1900 Turkmenistan rug.
  • November 19 at 9:00pm - Lincoln@Gettysburg - Learn how Lincoln re-invented leadership through the telegraph and how it shaped the Gettysburg Address.
  • November 20 at 10:00pm - Comet Encounter - Follow a once-in-a-lifetime event, Comet ISON's brush with the sun.
  • November 21 at 10:00pm - Death in Paradise - When DI Poole is bedridden with a tropical fever and Camille is on a course in Paris, Dwayne and Fidel have to solve the murder of a local diver.
  • November 22 at 9:00pm - Nashville 2.0 - Experience a variety of musical genres through the vibrancy of Nashville's Americana music scene. From Emmylou Harris to Mumford and Sons, Rosanne Cash to The Mavericks, Nashville 2.0 celebrates the American musical melting pot.
  • November 23 at 9:00pm - Doc Martin  - Martin is in London to meet with Robert Dashwood, who is leading the selection process for the prestigious London surgeon’s job that he has applied for. Pleased that Martin has finally conquered his debilitating blood phobia, Robert is confident that Martin will be hired. On the train back to Cornwall, Martin is annoyed to be seated next to one of his patients, a sheep farmer named Jim Selkirk. Jim falls asleep and slumps onto Martin’s shoulder — dead from heart failure!

Next week:

  • The Gettysburg Story begins in June 1863 with the start of the Gettysburg campaign in Virginia and follows the route of the Confederate and Union armies as they move north along the Blue Ridge mountains and across the Mason-Dixon line to meet on the rolling ground surrounding the small Pennsylvania town.  Join us for the Gettysburg Story Sunday November 24 at 7:00pm on witf.
  • Also next week, the legendary Barbra Streisand makes a historic homecoming to Brooklyn at the new Barclays Center arena, marking the superstar's first Brooklyn concert since her childhood years. Joined by special guests Il Volo and Chris Botti, Streisand performs an extensive selection of songs from throughout her five-decade career, including a touching duet with her son, Jason Gould. Join us for this special evening with Barbara Streisand on witf at 9:00pm on November 29.
