Sunday September 1 at 9:00pm - Masterpiece Mystery! Silk  - Trail Martha as she defends a teenager and, reluctantly, a police officer accused of racism.

Monday September 2 at 9:00pm  - POV: Nostalgia for the Light - Discover an otherworldly place where archaeologists dig, women search for bones and astronomers scan the skies.

Tuesday September 3 at 8:00pm - Bloom -  A four-part series all airing Tuesday with an honest assessment of the root causes of eutrophication and nutrient runoff throughout our landscapes, and a showcase of innovative solutions.

Wednesday September 4 at 8:00pm - Earthflight - We begin a new series from Nature for the next few weeks focusing on birds. In the first episode,  we fly over the Great Plains, Grand Canyon, and Alaska with snow geese, pelicans and bald eagles.

Thursday September 5 at 10:00pm - Masterpiece Classic: Upstairs/Downstairs - Meet two new arrivals, upstairs and down, to 165 Eaton Place.

Friday September 6 at 9:00pm - PBS Arts:  Give Me the Banjo - Join Steve Martin to explore the roots of American music through its quintessential musical instrument.

Saturday September 7 at 10:00pm - Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey - Downton is turned into a convalescent home.

September 10 at 8:00pm - American Masters: Billie Jean King - The series' first profile of a sports figure commemorates the 40th anniversaries of the famous Billie Jean King/Bobby Riggs battle of the sexes tennis match and the launch of the Women's Tennis Association. King presents her own story, with perspective from Rosie Casals, Chris Evert, Venus Williams, Gloria Steinem, Riggs' son Larry and others.
