Central PA Spelling Bee
The witf Central PA Spelling Bee invites 6th to 8th grade students from 10 surrounding counties to demonstrate their spelling knowledge as they attempt to make their way to the Scripps National Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee broadcasts on witf TV February 24 at 5:00pm with repeats February 27 at 7:00pm and March 1 at 1:00pm. In the meantime, learn more about some the contestants competing in the event.

NPR's Backseat Book Club
Okay for Now by Gary Schmidt is the February book pick for NPR's Backseat Book Club with Michele Norris. Michele will ask the authors where they got their inspiration, why they chose a particular locale, and how they know so much about the topics they write about. Tune in for the answers on All Things Considered February 27 on witf FM.
