Inauguration Coverage

January 21st President Obama will begin his second term with the Presidential Inauguration. witf will provide live coverage of this event on television, radio and the web.

witf fm plans:
Beginning at 10:00am, NPR will provide special coverage of the Inauguration.  Steve Inskeep and Audie Cornish will be our hosts from the West Front of the U.S. Capitol Building, where the Inaugural ceremony will take place.   They’ll be joined there by White House Correspondents Ari Shapiro and Scott Horsley. Special coverage will continue throughout the day until 3:00pm.  witf fm will also air a wrap up program at 7pm reviewing the day's events.


witf tv plans:
Join PBS Newshour beginning at 11:00am with live coverage of events including the procession from the White House to the Capitol, the President's and Vice President's swearing-in ceremonies, the inaugural address, and the inaugural parade. Special coverage will continue on witf tv through 2:00pm.  A recap of the day's events will occurr during PBS Newshour's regular program at 6:00pm on witf tv.
