November 23, 2012 marks the fifth anniversary of StoryCorps' National Day of Listening. On the day after Thanksgiving, take a few minutes to interview a loved one about their life.
StoryCorps is partnering with SoundCloud to debut the interactive Wall of Listening. Record interviews with family or friends, and upload the audio and a picture to the Wall of Listening. You can record in your web browser, or record using equipment readily available to you, such as an iPhone, digital recorder, or laptop. Share your story....
This year, StoryCorps is honoring veterans, active duty military service members, and their families. The best conversations can start with simple questions. How do you want to be remembered? What was the happiest moment of your life? Learn more at nationaldayoflistening.org.

We'll have a talk with our friends at Storycorps about The National Day of Listening. The guests will be available to answer your questions about how to get a conversation started with a loved one and how best to record the conversation. Talk of the Nation - November 22nd at 2pm
StoryCorps founder Dave Isay will be on Talk of the Nation on Hour One for their annual National Day of Listening special. Isay joins host Neal Conan in a tribute to veterans.
Weekend Edition Saturday and Sunday - November 24th and 25th at 8am
On Saturday Scott Simon talks to his uncle who was a Marine in World War II. He was part of the waves of U.S. troops at both Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal. Then, on Sunday Rachel Martin talks with her cousin about life as a female veteran with children.
