'Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas' and other children's holiday programming

On November 21 at 8 a.m., November 22 at 7 a.m. and November 23 at 7 a.m., PBS KIDS will premiere the first-ever Cat in the Hat Christmas special Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas! Set to be a new holiday family tradition, this adventure follows the Cat, Nick and Sally on a journey around the world to help a lost reindeer find his way home in time for Christmas. Through this new multiplatform program from the hit PBS KIDS series Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas!, kids and parents will explore natural science through new content on-air, online and beyond.

“We’re excited to premiere the first Christmas special featuring everyone’s favorite cat,” said Lesli Rotenberg, Senior Vice President, Children’s Media, PBS. “A festive event for the whole family, Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About Christmas! will take kids and their parents on a learning adventure, showcasing different types of animals and the incredible abilities they have. In this new holiday special, the Cat will be a trusted guide, helping families discover natural science concepts, while laughing and singing with them along the way.”

In the holiday spirit, witf will also be airing Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas on November 21 at 7 a.m., November 22 at 8 a.m. and November 25 at 7 a.m. Arthur’s Perfect Christmas will air on November 25 at 8 a.m., and Prima Princessa Presents the Nutcracker will air on November 25 at 9 a.m.
