This week host Lynne Rossetto Kasper (pictured right) is on a road trip to New Orleans with octogenarian chef Leah Chase of the legendary Dooky Chase Restaurant, Lolis Eric Elie, award winning journalist and script editor of Treme , WWNO's Poppy Tooker host of  Louisianna Eats! , mixologist Chris McMillian and Jane and Michael Stern who escort us around their annual Roadfood Festival. The Splendid Table, a show for people who love to eat, airs every Saturday afternoon at 2pm.

Last week The Splendid Table had another installment in their Key 3 series with Southern chef Bill Smith of Crook's Corner in Chapel Hill. Visit their website to hear last week's segment. Key 3 is a series of discussions with great cooks (not just professional chefs) about the three recipes or techniques they think everyone should know. These are master classes for all of us and quite revealing about the cooks themselves.
