You're probably well aware that we're currently in the middle of our annual fall fundraising campaign for witf 89.5 and 93.3.

Your public radio station is better with you as our financial partner. We thank you for listening and we thank you for your financial support. Together, we’ve been able to achieve some remarkable success stories and that’s why we’re here today. Because your financial support, makes it all possible. Here are some of the things we’ve accomplished through our partnership:

  • Nine Pennsylvania Associated Press Broadcasters Association awards, including Four first-place honors
  • Six regional Edward R Murrow Awards in 2011, and One national Murrow (that’s the 4th in 5 years) witf is the only Pennsylvania media organization to be so honore.
  • WITF was also awarded Two Mid-Atlantic Emmy awards for excellence

It’s so important that, with your help, we lay a strong foundation for another great year of public service. Here are just a few of the reports and programs that we’ve already brought to you since July: Flood coverage, personal stories reflecting on the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Harrisburg fiscal coverage, a live Whad’Ya Know? show direct from Harrisburg’s Forum, Facing Cancer Together and StateImpact Pennsylvania.

We’re your travel companions every morning and afternoon, helping to keep you well-informed with news, music, interviews and traffic updates. Public radio makes your commute easier, better and more interesting. If you can’t imagine your life without public radio, then please provide the support we need to keep providing these services. If not you then who?

Join us as an annual donor in support of quality public radio for the region, and we’ll continue enriching lives together. Every gift makes a difference. If you would like to donate, you can do so online now. Thank you for your contribution!
