Deniz Martinez shares local eco events and learning locations, as well as ideas and inspiration for keeping our kids connected to the nature in the 21st Century.

Gifford Pinchot State Park in Lewisberry will be hosting two evening Owl Prowls on July 27th and August 8th from 8:30-10:00 PM. There will be a program at the campground ampitheater about the different species of owls that can be found at the park, followed by a walk to search for some of them! Prowlers should wear sturdy shoes and bring their own flashlights.
For more information about these and other programs at the park, call 717-432-5011 or email ekepley-mc@state.pa.us.
