MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND FAMILY NATURE PROGRAMS AT LITTLE BUFFALO STATE PARK:
Saturday 05/26: Stream Stomp 11:00AM-12:00PM
"Adults and kids, get your feet wet and help us do a stream stomp. Find out what lives in the creek by catching the interesting critters that live at the water’s bottom. We’ll identify what we caught and learn what that can tell us about the health of the stream. Afterwards we set them all free."
Sunday 05/27: Making Tracks 3:30PM-4:30PM
"Make tracks to the Park Office and join the park naturalist for a program on animal tracks and animal signs. Kids and adults can make a plaster track to take home with them. We will learn how to discover the signs that animals leave, which reveal what they are, and perhaps what they were up to."
Monday 05/28: Salamander Search 11:00AM-12:00PM
"Join the park naturalist for an hour of catching salamanders and learning about the different fascinating species that live in the park."
