Former Pennsylvania Speaker of the State House of Representatives H. Jack Seltzer has died at the age of 88.  Seltzer, a Republican from Lebanon County, served as Speaker in 1979 and 1980.  He was first elected to the House in 1957.  Seltzer was president of Seltzer’s Lebanon Bologna, now Seltzer’s Smoked House Meats in Palmyra – a company started by his father in 1902.

Seltzer lived with his wife Geneva in Scottsdale, Arizona after retiring.  Funeral arrangements are pending.
