Written by  Scott LaMar, Director of Radio Smart Talk

Radio Smart Talk for Thursday, February 24:

Seventy percent of the registered voters responding to the Patriot-News/WITF State of the City Poll have an unfavorable opinion of Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson.  With those numbers in mind, 49% say that Thompson should resign from office compared to 43% who believe she should complete her four-year term (8% responded don't know).

The Patriot-News/WITF State of the City Poll was conducted Feb. 18-21 by Terry Madonna Opinion Research.  Four-hundred registered voters who live in the city were polled.   The sample error for the sample is plus or minus 4.9 percent.

Thursday's Radio Smart Talk will focus on the Patriot-News/WITF Poll results.  Appearing on the program to analyze the poll will be Dr. G. Terry Madonna, president of Terry Madonna Opinion Research and a political analyst from Franklin and Marshall College and Charles Thompson, a reporter for the Patriot-News, who covers the city.
