Thompson_churchMindlin_event(Harrisburg) -- In the spring, Democratic voters in Harrisburg decided to end the era known as the mayorship of Stephen Reed. On Tuesday, all of the city's voters will have a chance to pick his successor. Their choices are Democrat Linda Thompson, who would be the city's first African-American mayor, and Republican Nevin Mindlin. While their approaches to some key issues are similar, their differences are many -- including their resumes, the approaches they take to campaigning and where they choose to campaign. WITF's Scott Gilbert reports.
