written by Mickey C , July 10, 2009, 02:41:54 PM Camp Koala, hopefully the first of many gatherings of children with a loss, in the ongoing process of healing, and trained and compassionate, open-minded volunteer adults, all with the goal of helping children along the path of grieving and most especially, of healing. It was a wonderful inaugural camp! It was an honor to be a part of it. report abuse

(Dillsburg) -- For most children, summertime in Central Pennsylvania means sunshine and freedom. But for those living with the loss of a parent or sibling, it's hard to be as carefree since the pain doesn't stop when school is out. The inaugural gathering of Camp Koala is hoping to change that.
