But new technologies, scientific advances, and medicine have given rise to a new understanding of the disease....Cancer is no longer a death sentence.

This episode takes a look at the most common types of cancer in Central Pennsylvania and talk to three families about their own personal battle with the disease. Plus, learn how the approach to cancer is changing, what it could mean for future care and how diet, lifestyle choices and family history affect your chances of getting cancer.
