(Gettysburg) -- Gettysburg College is turning to a senior administrator at Harvard University to take over as its new president later this year.

The school said Wednesday that Harvard vice president and general counsel Robert Iuliano was the trustees' unanimous choice to take the reins on July 1 from retiring Gettysburg President Janet Morgan Riggs.

At Harvard, the 57-year-old Iuliano has been a leader in financial matters, including fundraising, as well as admissions and student body diversity issues.

He's also been a lecturer at Harvard's college and graduate school of education.
