The votes are in -- the Phoenix at Knoebels Amusement Resort has been voted the best wooden roller coaster in the world by Amusement Today.

"Thank you to Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Award voters for loving this classic coaster as much as we do," Knoebels wrote in a post on their Facebook page

The publication released the results of their poll over the weekend, and Knoebels took home three of their 2018 Golden Ticket Awards.

Along with "Best Wooden Roller Coaster," they earned recognition for "Best Carousel" -- Knoebels' Grand Carousel is also the only carousel to ever receive this award.

And typically, there is back-and-forth in the category of "Best Food" between Knoebels Amusement Resort and the Dollywood theme park in Tennessee.

But this year Knoebels regained the title for 2018.

The survey asks "experienced amusement park voters around the country and world" to rate amusement parks in 23 categories. The results were announced at reception in Branson City, Missouri on Saturday.
