(Pittsburgh) -- President Donald Trump travels to western Pennsylvania tonight to rally voters in support of Rick Saccone, as Republicans try to preserve the 18th Congressional District seat.

Trump is schediled to appear at Atlantic Aviation in Moon Township at 7:00pm.

The rally was previously scheduled for last month but was postponed following the Parkland, Florida school shootings.

The 18th District seat was vacated late last year following the resignation of Republican Tim Murphy.

The district covers portions of four counties, from the Pittsburgh suburbs down to the West Virginia state line.

Trump won the district handily in the 2016 Presidential election, but recent polls have indicated the race is neck and neck between Saccone and his Democratic challenger Conor Lamb.

Former Vice Pesident Joe Biden campaigned for Lamb earlier this week.

The special election will be held on Tuesday.
