(Harrisburg) -- The midstate is bracing for another winter storm.

Snow is expected overnight into Wednesday morning.

Craig Evanego, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in State College, says the snowfall could make for a messy commute.

"We expect accumulation to range anywhere from 1-3 inches across the lower Susquehanna Valley, slightly higher amounts farther to the north," he said.

Evanego says temperatures will rise during the day Wednesday, possibly causing the snow to turn into an icy mix or even rain.

Cold air coming behind the system could make for another slippery commute Thursday morning.
