(Hanover) -- Here's something to chirp about.

The treasured Hanover eagle cam is back for the 2018 season.

The online livestream went up Wednesday around noon.

The eagle cam, which documents an eagles' nest near Codorus State Park, has treated viewers to an unfiltered, 24/7 look at a pair of eagles, believed to be the same duo since the camera was set up in 2015.

The stream is produced by the Pennsylvania Game Commission and HDOnTap.

Last year, two eaglets successfully hatched and fledged from the nest. A parent eagle even braved Winter Storm Stella in March to keep its eggs warm.

The nest partially collapsed since the eagle cam went offline last summer, but the eagles rebuilt it as they have in the past, according to a press release from the game commission. The adult eagles "appear to have it ready for another go in the coming months."

The eagle cam has accumulated a faithful following over the years. Dedicated viewers, including some who have nicknamed the eagles "Liberty" and "Freedom," will likely document every move of the birds and their offspring on social media.

As many as 1.5 million viewers have tuned in to watch the eagle cam during a single nesting season, according to the press release.
