(Baltimore) -- Funeral services have been set for a murdered Baltimore police detective -- with ties to the midstate -- who was fatally shot while on the job.

The funeral for Detective Sean Suiter is scheduled to be held next Wednesday at a Baltimore church.

Viewings are slated to take place the two preceding days at a funeral home in Randallstown.

Suiter is a married father of five who lived in Conewago Township, York County.

He died Thursday after being shot in the head while investigating a case.

A reward of $215,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot him.
