(State College) -- The Christmas tree that will decorate New York City's Rockefeller Center is coming from Centre County.

The Norway spruce from State College will be the 86th tree to adorn the plaza.

The height and owner have not been released.

It will be cut down on November 9th and arrive in New York two days later, where it will be decorated with more than 50,000 lights and topped with a Swarovski star.

The tree will be illuminated on November 29th and remain on display until January 7th.
