(University Park, PA) -- 4th-ranked Penn State welcomes Pittsburgh to Beaver Stadium today for the first time since 1999.

And the Nittany Lions insist they are focused on improving to 2-0 and not getting revenge for last year's loss to the Panthers at Heinz Field.

Penn State began a season of sky-high expectations with a 52-0 romp over Akron, while the Panthers needed overtime to get past Youngstown State.

Fans will be treated to a pre-game flyover by U.S. Air Force A-10 Warthogs.

Prior to the game, "2016" will be unveiled on the east side of Beaver Stadium in recognition of Penn State's Big 10 Championship season.

And at halftime the 1982 Nittany Lion team will be recognized on the 35th anniversary of their national championship season

Today's game will be the 98th meeting between the two teams with the Lions leading the historic series 50-43-4.

Kick-off is at 3:30pm.
