(State College) -- Keep your eye on the sky, as they say, this weekend.

Along with more heat and humidity comes the chance of thunderstorms throughout the Mid-State Saturday afternoon and evening and forecasters say some of the storms could be severe.

The National Weather Service in State College says the thunderstorms may produce damaging winds of 60mph or greater, heavy rain with localized flooding,.. and hail.

Severe storms are in the forecast for Sunday as well and there doesn't appear to be a break in the heat and humidity until Tuesday.
