25 arrested in Harrisburg for allegedly dealing heroin, other drugs

(Harrisburg) -- 25 people have been arrested and charged with selling drugs in Harrisburg and surrounding areas.

State Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced the arrests in a press conference in downtown Harrisburg Tuesday.

Shapiro says the state AG's mobile street crimes unit purchased illegal drugs from the dealers charged.

They seized heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, crack cocaine, methamphetamine, prescription pills, ectasy, and other drugs, plus guns and cash.

Those arrested hail from Harrisburg, Steelton, and Middletown in Dauphin County, and Marysville in Perry County.

The investigation is ongoing.
