(Mount Joy) -- An appearance scheduled for today in Lancaster County by Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence has been canceled.

Pence was scheduled to hold a rally later this morning at Brubaker Farms in Mount Joy, but he, instead, will join GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump at a private event in King of Prussia.

Mike Brubaker, co-owner of Brubaker Farms, said the campaign indicated there was a possibility that the rally there could be rescheduled in the week remaining before the next Tuesday's election.

The Trump camaign website shows Pence, the governor of Indiana, is scheduled to hold a rally there at 3:00 p.m. today at the Westmoreland County Community College.

Trump's wife, Melania, is slated to hold an event in Berwyn, Chester County, Thursday at noon at the Main Line Sports Center.
