Transit bus crash in Lebanon sends 17 on board to hospital

(Lebanon) -- Authorities say a transit bus crash in Lebanon County has sent at least 17 people to the hospital.

The crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in Lebanon.

Police say a bus slammed into several cars, a bridge, a utility pole, the corner of a church and a dumpster, which was pushed into the porch of a home.

Seventeen of the 23 people on board the bus have been taken to a hospital for minor injuries, including the driver.

The crash remains under investigation.
