(Harrisburg) -- A change in the hot, humid weather conditions we've become accustomed to is on the way.

Unfortunately, we may have to experience some nasty weather in order to make that change.

Forecasters with the National Weather Service say a fast-moving cold front will roll through the mid-state today, bringing with it a good chance of severe thunderstorms,.. some which may include high winds and heavy rain.

The result however, will be sunshine and much lower humidity through at least the first half of the work week.
