(Enola) -- Schools remain closed in the East Pennsboro district while they await the results of tests for mold.

East Pennsboro has closed all schools today as a precaution to check the heating and cooling systems in its buildings.

Students had just returned Monday after summer vacation.

The district is optimistic the elementary schools will reopen tomorrow.

Mold was found on ceiling tiles at the high school and the building will remain closed through Monday.

A testing company blamed the growth on extreme humidity and rain over the summer.
