(Pottsville) -- Police have arrested a woman after another woman ran naked into a Schuylkill County store saying she'd been held captive for days and beaten with a baseball bat and fire extinguisher.

Officers responded to the Pottsville business Tuesday morning and found the Mechanicsville woman wrapped in a sheet with numerous cuts and bruises.

The woman said she was restrained and beaten by Holly Ann Rhode inside the 47-year-old's Pottsville apartment.

The woman said Rhode took her clothes and deprived her of basic necessities.

Police haven't released a motive, but say they found enough evidence to charge her with aggravated assault, unlawful restraint and other crimes.

Rhode remained jailed today and her attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
