(Harrisburg) -- Harrisburg's fire chief says illegal fireworks started a blaze that left a family homeless in the city.

The blaze started about 10:00 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Green Street.

Chief Brian Enterline says nobody was hurt in the fire that started on the third floor of the home.

The American Red Cross is helping six people left homeless.

It wasn't immediately clear whether anyone will be charged in connection to the fireworks or the fire.
