Trucker found shot at rest stop along 1-81 in Cumberland County

(Newville) -- State police are investigating after a trucker was found shot at a rest stop along Interstate 81 in Cumberland County.

Troopers from the Carlisle barracks say today they have no new information to release. 

The incident was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at a rest stop in Penn Township, near the Newville exit. 

Police haven't released the victim's name, or said whether they're searching for a suspect.

They also didn't specify how the shooting occurred or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
