Three Mile Island to test warning sirens Thursday

(Harrisburg) -- Three Mile Island plans to test its emergency warning sirens Thursday at 12:15 in the afternoon.

Exelon Generation, which owns the nuclear power plant in Dauphin County, will conduct the test.

All 96 sirens within 10 miles of the facility will sound for three minutes.

The Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency will also activate its Emergency Alert System during the test.
